Reeves to deliver a tasty campaign for the Colmore Food Festival

Reeves Media has been appointed to deliver the PR and multi-channel social media campaign for the tenth anniversary of the renowned Colmore Food Festival.

The award-winning festival, which brings together food and drink offerings from bars, restaurants and cafes around Birmingham’s Colmore Business Improvement District, will run on Friday and Saturday July 21 and 22. It has not been staged since 2019 and the 2023 festival promises to be its biggest and best yet.

Matt Walker, Reeves Media MD said: “The Reeves team has worked on the festival every year that it has taken place and are hungry to get going to ensure a lively and fun-packed campaign for this free, must-visit festival in the heart of Birmingham’s business district.

“The food festival project is always fun, particularly working with vendors before the event to shine a spotlight on the brilliant food and beverage offering within the district, as well as covering the event itself.

The event Friday has become the principal networking event for the entire business district and Saturday often sees the same people returning, this time bringing along their families.

“Everyone involved is champing at the bit to start the campaign following the four-year break and have planned a range of activities to whet people’s appetites for this special anniversary event.”

Michele Wilby, CEO of Colmore Business District, said: “We are looking forward to working with Reeves Media, as they have some great ideas to promote the festival. We have worked with them before and know that they will bring innovation and fun both before and during the festival.”

This year the festival sports new branding, which was also created by the Reeves Media team. The event will be held in the grounds of St Philip’s Cathedral. Details of the vendors taking part and entertainment on offer will be revealed on Colmore BID’s social pages in the coming weeks.
