Popular LGBTQ+ networking event returns to Newcastle

Out of Office, the LGBTQ+ professional networking event, returns to Newcastle on 20th April following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Out of Office invites LGBTQ+ professionals and allies from across the North East to join an informal networking evening designed to boost connections, do business and build friendships. It also aims to raise the profile of LGBTQ+ individuals and organisations in the region.

Originally launched in Birmingham over a decade ago by PR consultancy Reeves Media, Out of Office has become a staple for professional networking among the LGBTQ+ community. Now expanding its reach into the North East, Reeves Media has enlisted the support of Byggfakata Group and the CBI to bring Out of Office back to the city.

Neil Bestford, Head of Employer Brand at Byggfakata Group, said: “It’s fantastic to bring Out of Office back to Newcastle. It provides an important opportunity to celebrate diversity in a business context, while offering a friendly environment where people can attend individually or with colleagues and friends. Our Newcastle events have been hugely popular in the past with all of them selling out quickly. We’re looking forward to meeting new connections and welcoming back familiar faces.”

Taking place at Alvino’s Bar in the heart of Newcastle, this free event is being sponsored by construction data and information company NBS.

Limited tickets are available via Eventbrite. To register to attend, visit: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/out-of-office-lgbt-professional-networking-returns-again-to-newcastle-tickets-595996380217
